- Team Mushin Racing made the trip to
the inaugural AMA-ATV Motocross Championship in
Millville, Minnesota at the famed Spring Creek
MX facility with one thing in mind, making history.
On Saturday morning, June 12th, Brian Johnson
(#55) of Riverview, Florida set the wheels in
motion for the Mushin Racing team.
Johnson, competing in the College 16-24 class,
turned the corner at the holeshot in the lead,
the first ever MX National holeshot at the facility.
And then, won the moto, the first ever AMA-ATV
Motocross Championship moto win to ever be recorded
at the Spring Creek MX Park. Johnson went 1-3
in the class for a 3rd overall for the event
which secured his standing as the points leader
in the class, leading the runner-up after 6
rounds by 28 points.

Mushin Racing's Chase Snapp (#22) continued
to put the team in the history books by nabbing
the overall win in the Pro/Am Unlimited class
with 2-1 moto scores. Snapp's run at Spring
Creek helped him close the gap on the front
runner in the overall standings and after Round
6 he was a mere 2 points out of first place.

They said they were going to do it and that
they did. Mushin Racing's Youth Team adapted
to the Spring Creek MX track in Millville, Minnesota
on June 12-13 at the sixth round of the 2010
AMA-ATV Motocross Championship and, although
the layout was an enormous challenge, laid claim
to 3 overall wins.
The youngest and by far the tyke of the team,
Ashton Ward took both moto wins in the 50cc
Limited Junior (4-6) classto lay claim to his
first ever win of the season at the inaugural
MX event held at Minnesota's Spring Creek MX.
His win closed the points gap between himself
and the leader of the 50 Ltd. Jr. class, bringing
him to within 8 points of the top spot in the
overall series' standings.

Shake raced in the 90cc Auto Jr class
at Spring Creek for the first time &
also walked away with an overall victory
as well going 2-1 on the day |
Cole Shake, a Minnesota native, not only made
the home state trip to Millville for the first
time event at the facility, but decided to toss
his helmet into the ranks of the 90 Auto Junior
(8-11) class for the first time.

Maci Davenport
went 1-2 on the day for 1st place overall
& she too currently sits only 4
points behind the current 90cc Auto

And, guess what? He not only conquered the steep, rather rough Spring Creek track,
but put a win under his belt in the new class
with 2-1 moto scores.
She's a cutie off the track but a fierce Mushin
Racing competitor on the track. Maci Devenport
put her second win of the season in the record
books at Millville in Mid-June by securing 1-2
moto scores in the 90 Auto Senior (12-15) class.
Devenport's performance at Spring Creek brought
her to within 4 points of the class overall
points leader as she charges for the top podium
spot at the end of the season.
