Bowling Green, KY (4/23/2010) - Dalton
Millican was racing this past weekend at one
of his favorite tracks on the tour, Balance
Moto X in Bowling Green, KY. In moto one of
the 450A class Millican was out of the gate
first with a great holeshot and held on for
a second place finish. “My race bike
spent a lot of time at Maximum Cycle the week
after the last race. I am not sure what they
did to it but it has lots of power. I was
doing my best to take advantage of that power
and get a good start” Millican said.
In moto two Millican again had a good start
but found himself battling for a position
in the top five. “Going into the first
turn there was a little bumping going on and
I got pushed a little to the outside. It made
for a fun moto trying to hold my position
though” Millican said. With a fifth
place finish in moto two Millican came home
fourth place overall.

Millican also competed in Production A Class.
In moto one of Production A Millican had the
holeshot and was hit by a competitor as he
completed the first turn. Millican had to
race his way to a sixth place finish. In moto
two Millican again had a huge holeshot and
lead a good deal of the race before spinning
out in front of most of the field and falling
all the way to an eleventh place finish. “I
was hoping to spin and win but really I was
just proud no one ran into me when I spun.
I am not quite sure why the track was being
watered while we were out there because it
sure cost me a good finish. All in all it
was a great weekend though” Millican
said.
