                                  Vista, CA (4/18/2012) –
Can- Am / Motoworks’ Josh Frederick remains
in the pro points lead after finishing on the
podium at round number four of the 2012 WORCS
series this past weekend, while Dillon Zimmerman
came on strong to finish inside the top five.

Speed World MX in Surprise, AZ was the hosting
facility for round number four of the WORCS
series where good weather was on hand, but
excessive watering made the track a bit slick
in spots. Standing water did not seem to matter
to the Can-Am/Motoworks team, however, as
points leader, Josh Frederick shot off the
start in the number three spot.
Frederick kept a fast and steady pace, as
he waited for an opportunity to move up. Frederick
didn’t have to wait long because in
the second lap he would inherit second place.
Frederick eventually took the lead for a short
time in lap seven, but could not hold on.
“I’ve been feeling a bit under
the weather, so I just went out there and
                                    did my best,” he stated.

/ Motoworks' Josh Frederick took second

Despite being ill, Frederick finished in
a respectable second place, which allowed
him to maintain his points lead. “I
got a decent start and battled for a little
bit with a couple of guys and got into the
lead. Even though I didn’t win, I was
still able to take it to the podium. Even
with all the standing water and slick conditions,
the Can-Am was handling awesome. It really
worked well out there and I couldn’t
ask for anything more,” said Frederick.

                                          / Motoworks' Dillon Zimmerman placed
fourth at Speed World & currently
holds down the forth position in Pro

Dillon Zimmerman, who took his best pro finish
to date at the last round, was on top of his
game once again. Zimmerman was inside the top
five off the start and battled back and forth
or several laps, but made his fourth place position
stick in the final couple of laps and took it
to the checkered flag. “It was really
slick out there, but my quad hooked up and the
Motoworks engine had plenty of power that helped
me to stay up in the top five. I’m glad
I was able to finish in fourth but I am shooting
for the podium at the next round,” said
                                  Zimmerman.

Frederick was spun around on the start, which
sent him back to sixteenth place at the end
of the first lap. Frederick put the hammer down
and was able to make his way into ninth place
                                  before reaching the checkered flag.
