                                  Vista, CA (2/14/2012) –
                                  Can-Am/Motoworks’ Josh Frederick claimed
victory at round number two of the 2012 WORCS
series while his teammate Dillon Zimmerman grabbed
the holeshot off of the dead engine start.

Buffalo Bill’s Casino and Resort in
Primm, NV was the hosting facility for the
second round of the series, and perfect weather
was on tap for the weekend. Unfortunately,
the dry weather created quite a bit of dust
for racers, but Josh Frederick had a plan
in place for coping with the poor visibility.
Frederick was just outside of the top five
on the start and knew he had to get out of
the dust. “I just rode cautiously and
once I moved up a little and got out of the
dust, it all went pretty well for me,”
                                    said Josh Frederick.
Frederick did more than just move up a little.
He recorded the fastest lap time of the race
in the second lap with a time of 08:25.355
and moved into second place by the end of
the second lap. Frederick soon caught up to
the leader and waited for an opportunity to
make a clean pass and take over the lead.
Once out front, Frederick put the hammer
down and began to pull away from the competition
and took the checkered flag over a minute
ahead of second place. “It felt great
to take that win. It felt like it had been
a long time since I was on top of the box,
                                    and I can’t thank Can-Am and Motoworks
enough for helping get there. The Can-Am shines
in the rough and today was definitely a rough
                                    one,” stated Josh Frederick.

Dillon Zimmerman was very impressive early
in the race. Zimmerman charged off the dead
engine start and grabbed the pro holeshot.
Zimmerman led for two laps before an issue
caused him to fall back. Zimmerman soon got
back on track, and charged his way back into
the top ten. Zimmerman held his ground and
finished in eighth place. “I was pretty
excited to get the holeshot. I think that
being able to get the holeshot like that really
says a lot about the Can-Am and what amazing
                                    power it has,” said Zimmerman.

double duty racing in the SxS 1000 class
taking fourth at Buffalo Bills |

In the Side-by-Side 1000 Production class,
Josh Frederick gave it his all in his second
time behind the wheel of the Can-Am Commander.
Frederick came off the line and ended up getting
pushed out, which almost caused him to flip,
but Frederick was quick to react and despite
losing a few spots, he stayed right side up
and continued to charge. Frederick still had
his work cut out for him as this was one of
the biggest SxS classes to date, so he stayed
consistent and was able to make his way through
traffic and take home a fourth place finish.
“It was pretty sketchy off the start,
but I was lucky and didn’t tip over.
I just tried to stay focused and I was able
to move up and finish inside the top five.
This was only my second time behind the wheel,
so I think there will be some improvement
every round as I get used to the machine,”
                                    said Frederick.

will have the Motoworks team heading to the
