                                  Vista, CA (4/6/2012) –
Can-Am / Motoworks’ Chris Bithell showed
his strength and determination at round number
three of the 2012 GNCC at Steele Creek and is
now in the top five in series points.

Good weather was on hand for the third round
of the series at Steele Creek that had an
                                    incredible spectator turn out. Spectators
lined the track at just about every turn,
cheering on racers as they came by. Steele
Creek is one of the toughest and most technical
tracks for GNCC racers, which lends to the
excitement for race fans. The course consists
of tight trails that are littered with rocks
and tree roots that cause bottlenecks and
create tough conditions for passing, but that
                                    didn’t stop Motoworks’ Chris Bithell
                                    from taking an early lead.
Bithell was able to get a good start despite
the dead engine start and quickly powered
his way to the front by the second lap. Bithell
recorded the fastest lap of the race in lap
two with a time of 25:02.4, which allowed
his to increase his lead to seven seconds.
                                    Unfortunately, Bithell encountered issues
in the third lap and fell back for a sixth
                                    place finish for the day.
Chris Bithell has proven that he has what
it takes to be in contention for the podium.
He has consistently finished in the top ten
in every round and been the leader in two
out of three rounds. Bithell plans to keep
working hard and hopes to take that lead all
the way to the checkered flag at Big Buck.
Bithell is currently ranked fifth in series
points and has every intension of breaking
                                    into the top three soon.
Round number four of the 2012 GNCC series
will be heading to Big Buck Farm in Union,
South Carolina on April 14th where Motoworks’
Chris Bithell will be going for the top spot
                                    on the podium.
