Motoworks’ Chad Wienen Wins at AMA ATV Motocross Season Finale
AMA ATV Motocross Championship - Round 11 - Loretta Lynn's - August 15, 2010

Motoworks Chad Wienen - Can-Am ATV - Podium
#44 Chad Wienen claimed his second overall win at Loretta's & came away with 3rd place in the overall points championship as well!
Vista, CA (8/19/2010) - The battle was on at the final round of the 2010 AMA ATV Motocross Championships as Chad Wienen powered his way to the top of the podium, which would put him in third for series points after a hard fought three way battle between him, teammate John Natalie, Jr. and Josh Upperman.

It was a scorcher at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch as temps topped out in the triple digits, and rough track conditions after a passing storm cell brought heavy rain early on Sunday morning. Track conditions were very wet with standing water and thick slippery mud that prompted track officials to cut the Pro and Pro-am races to a one moto format.

With a maximum of only 25 points up for grabs in the pro class, the competition was fierce for the number three spot in series points as Chad Wienen, John Natalie and Josh Upperman were all within a few points of each other and all hungry for a top three position at season’s end.

Motoworks John Natalie - Can-Am ATV
John Natalie would suffer some mechanical issues during the last moto of the season but still slid into 5th place overall during the championship points hunt
As the gate dropped for the Pro moto, Motoworks’ Chad Wienen got off to a top five start. Wienen soon began to chase down Josh Upperman, who was in third place. Knowing he needed to finish in front of Upperman to take third in points, Wienen put the hammer down and made his move. From there, Wienen chased down Thomas Brown and was in pursuit of Josh Creamer, who was in the lead. Wienen pressured Creamer and after just a couple laps, he was able to make the pass when Creamer went down in a turn at the midway point of the race. After taking the lead, Wienen checked out and took the overall win and the third spot in the series points championship.

“I felt really good out there and everything just kind of flowed for me. I really have to thank Motoworks and everyone who has helped me out this year because they have given me great support and I couldn’t do this without them,” stated Wienen.

Motoworks Jeremie Warnia - Can-Am ATV
Jeremie Warnia finished in 6th place at Loretta's season finale & took home a top ten position in the points standings on the season
Motoworks’ John Natalie, Jr., who was also in the battle for third in the points chase, was in mid pack off the start and was making head way when he encountered issues out on the track in mid moto. Natalie was forced to pull off, but he stayed track side to cheer on his teammate Wienen to victory. “We’ve really made a lot of progress this season and I think that next year will be our best yet, Said Natalie, who would end his season taking fifth in championship points.

Jeremie Warnia was looking solid despite the intense heat and humidity. Warnia was in mid pack off the start and held off Pat Brown for several laps before pulling away. Warnia eventually worked his way into the number six spot and held it for several laps before reaching the checkered flag. Warnia’s efforts would have him finishing within the top ten in season’s end points.

This year has been a successful one for the Motoworks team with Chad Wienen and John Natalie both taking overall wins and finishing in the top five in series points. Over the off-season the team will be training hard to ensure that next year will be even better as they will be top contenders for the podium and the 2011 AMA ATV Motocross Championship.
