ITP Round #7 (9-19-09): Surprise, Az-
Lake Elsinore, Ca- 8/20/09
Motowork’s west coast team left off in there
winning ways as they returned to the ITP Quadcross
series, this time heading back out to Arizona
to take on the Speedworld track with Warnia, Frederick
& Zimmerman highlighting the show. Zimmerman
who returned here after an ugly mid-season crash,
posted a well earned 3rd O/A with a 9-1 moto finish,
while Pro riders Josh Frederick & Jeremie
Warnia posted solid finishes. Frederick still
rebounding from his mid-season leg injury posted
13-7 finishes, capturing a 10th, while Warnia
went on to score the 2-1 finish, putting him 1st
O/A on the day. Along with his Pro Production
win, Jeremie snagged a 1-1 finish with his 2nd
O/A win on the day in the Open Pro class as well.
WORCS Round #7 (9-28-09): San Bernardino,
Ca- Lake Elsinore, Ca- 8/20/09
Motoworks came out swinging at Round #7 of the
WORCS series. Frederick was on the mission to
close the points gap on MCR Racing’s Beau
Baron, while Zimmerman looked to secure the
Pro-Am Championship and Warnia, well “Frenchie”
was just out to win as he has been recently.
Also joining the team was newly recruited East
coast phenom and multi-time ATV MX Champ- John
Natalie. On Friday, Natalie who was involved
in a practice crash, revamped and finished an
impressive 5th O/A on the weekend in the Pro
class. Josh Frederick continued to ride consistent
as he posted 3rd O/A. Jeremie Warnia who ripped
into the lead around the 20 minute mark, held
the lead and never looked back, continuing to
make a mark on the west coast ATV scene this
year. Dillon Zimmerman, deserves serious props
as he rode hard to a 2nd place finish in the
Pro-Am class, but more importantly, securing
his first ever WORCS Pro-Am Championship that
has eluded him the past couple of years. Congrats
to Dillon, a mid-season injury, a determined
attitude and leadership was enough to bring
him home the hardware.
“Were very happy with the final stages
here as we roll into the last rounds. Josh is
working so hard to narrow that points chase,
Jeremie is continuing to lead us into every
round and finish really well and I’m very
happy for my boy and our Pro-Am rider, Dillon.
he deserved this Championship and worked very
hard for it.” Ty Zimmerman of Motoworks.
