Lafayette, IN (7/20/2011) - Moto-Xperts’
Aaron Meyer put down two solid motos to take his
second overall Pro-am Production win of the season
at round number nine of the 2011 AMA ATV Motocross
Championships, while teammate Casey Martin is
still holds the Pro-am Production points lead.
Unadilla is notorious for its hard packed soil
and rocks, that can make passing difficult and
create rough conditions, but Moto-Xperts’
Aaron Meyer charged his way to the top of the
Pro-am Production podium.

Meyer was in second off the line in the first
moto and held off the competition for almost
the entire moto, until in the final two laps
when he would fall back to third after battling
it out with Mark Madl. In the second moto, Meyer
was in second off the line and wasted no time
in passing for the lead by lap two. Meyer held
off the competition to take the moto two win,
and the overall Pro-am Production win. Meyer
is currently ranked third in points in his class
and is expected to finish top three in his class
at the end of the season.

“It felt really good to take another
win. I have to thank Moto-Xperts and all of
my sponsors for helping me be up here. I just
want to stay on the podium for the last two
rounds and do the best I can,” stated
Meyer.

Pro-am Production points leader Casey Martin charged
off the line in moto one and grabbed the holeshot.
Martin led for several laps until he and Mark
Madl would battle it out in the final two laps.
Martin was looking good, but Madl was able to
slip by, leaving Martin to settle for second place
as he crossed the finish line.
Martin was looking good in moto two as well,
as he came off the line in third. Martin held
his position for several laps, but it would
not last. “I was trying to get up there
and I really wanted to be up front and I bobbled
a little and ended up crashing,” said
Martin.

“I have to thank Toby, everyone at Moto-Xperts,

and helping me go out there and have good races.
I’m going to be doing quite a bit of training
before Red Bud and do my best out there to get
a few more points on the competition so I can
hopefully bring Moto-Xperts a championship,”
Martin added.
Round number ten of the 2011 AMA ATV motocross
Championships will be heading to Red Bud in
Buchanan, MI on July 30th – 31st where
the Moto-Xperts team is hoping to dominate the
podium and Casey Martin trying to extend his
points lead in order to bring home a championship.
