#74 Aaron Meyer & #75 Casey Martin
are dominating the Pro-Am Production class
aboard their Honda TRX450R ATVs |
Lafayette, IN 6/2/2011) - After
finishing in third and fourth overall at Steel
City, Moto-Xperts’ Casey Martin and Aaron
Meyer are holding first and third in the Pro-am
Production points and are looking to better their
positions at round number seven of the AMA ATV
Motocross Championships.
Points leader, Casey Martin, grabbed the moto one holeshot, with Aaron Meyer
not far behind in third. The pair would put
in a consistent moto, with Martin finishing
in second and Meyer following in fourth.

In the second moto, Meyer was in second off
the start with Martin hot on his heels in third.
Both racers had their work cut out for them
when Mark Madl came up from behind. Meyer and
Martin would lose a position, but they never
gave up the fight and battled back and forth
until the end of the moto with Meyer finishing
third and Martin in fourth. The final results
would give third overall to Martin, while Meyer
laid claim to fourth.
Now going into round number seven, Casey Martin
and Aaron Meyer are looking to dominate the
Pro-am Production podium. “The weather
has been good so we have been able to get in
a lot of practice and I’m really hoping
all the extra seat time will put us on top of
the podium,” said Martin.

Last season, Aaron Meyer was in the top five
overall at Spring Creek and this year, he is
again expecting to do well. “Casey and
I have been training together and really pushing
each other. I took fifth last year, but this
year I plan to be on the podium,” said
Meyer.
With both of his riders in the top three in
points, Moto-Xperts owner, Toby Reed, couldn’t
be happier with his new team’s success.
“We are a new team, but we knew that Casey
and Aaron would be top contenders this season.
They were both chosen because of their reputations
and professionalism and they have been doing
a great job out there,” stated Reed.

Reed also has a very positive outlook for this
next round as well and has been taking measures
to ensure his riders will be prepared for a tough
battle. “We are very excited for this next
round. We have been doing a lot of preparation.
Casey and Aaron are running our engines with all
new internals, that will be available to the public
after this season, and we have been working with
Dragon Fuels to give them every advantage with
a new fuel we are testing. I think between them,
they have grabbed 90% of the holeshots this year,
and that’s a trend we would like to keep
happening,” Reed concluded.
Round number seven of the 2011 AMA ATV Motocross
Championships will be held at Spring Creek MX
in Millville, MN where the team is looking to
dominate the podium and further their points
standings in order to bring Moto-Xperts a championship.
