Lafayette, IN (4/21/2011) - The Moto-Xperts / Dragon Racing Fuels ATV MX Team headed to Mechanicsville, MD this past weekend for round 4 of the AMA ATV Motocross Nationals.

For this round, AMA ATV MX hosted the race at Budds Creek MX, which is new to the circuit this year. As the team began with their weekend routine of practice and prepping the ATVs for the race on Sunday, thunderstorms and rain rolled in drenching the track. The wet track made for a “Mud Fest” of a race for the Pro ATV Racers on Saturday, but by nothing short of a Miracle, the muddy track dried up before the Moto-Xperts / Dragon Racing Fuels team hit the track Sunday for the Pro-Am Production race.

Casey Martin would take the first Moto holeshot and the win, followed by Moto-Xperts / Dragon Racing Fuels teammate Aaron Meyer in fourth.

#75 Casey Martin took the Holeshot in Moto 1 aboard his Moto-Xperts / Dragon Racing Fuel powered Honda TRX450R ATV

“Moto one was an exciting race for myself, as I battled with the pack I got by Jesse Barnes and Kyle Fix. I was able to catch up to Jeffrey Rastrelli in third, but couldn’t make the pass in time,” said #74 Aaron Meyer.

Aaron Meyer placed third in Moto 1 at Budds Creek. Meyer sits third place in the points race after round 4

“I can’t be more satisfied with my Moto-Xperts/ Dragon Racing Fuels machine this year, the Custom Axis and LSR suspension handled the rough Budds Creek track with ease. I want to thank all of our sponsors and our team for all the hard work and support this year,” said Meyer.

In the second Moto, Martin battled with Jeffrey Rastrelli for the number one position. Rastrelli held down the lead before crossing the finish line placing Martin in second. Martin would take the overall win in the Pro-Am Production class at Budds Creek MX for the weekend.

“I'm feeling stronger and stronger going into every round. I also feel a lot more confident in myself, and my team. Aaron my teammate, the whole MXP crew, and myself have built an awesome relationship that makes everything go a whole lot smoother”, said Martin.

“We got our "bad luck" race out of the way at round 3, so we plan to keep working just as hard as we were working coming into round 1 to finish out the year strong. I can’t thank the MXP / Dragon Racing Fuels team enough”, stated #75 Casey Martin.

Moto-Xperts powered ATVs have taken 6 out of 8 Holeshots this season in the Pro-Am Production Class alone, placing Moto-Xperts / Dragon Racing Fuels Rider Casey Martin first in the points race.
