Maxxis’ Beau Baron and Josh Row found their
way to the pro podium once again at round three
of the 2010 WORCS series, while teammate Levi
Marana came on strong to finish within the top
five and Julie Russell would claim her second
win of the season in the Women’s A class.
Beau Baron would put on a strong performance,
taking fourth off the line and quickly working
into second place before the end of the first
lap. From there, Baron would put a huge gap
between him and third place. Baron kept a fast
and steady pace, finishing more than a minute
ahead of teammate Josh Row, who was in third.
“Beau did a good job, but he is really
going to be shooting for the win at the next
round,” stated team manager, Mike Cafro.

Mike Cafro |
Mike Cafro, who has been having a great season,
claimed the number six spot after a tough battle
with Can-Am’s Dillon Zimmerman. “It’s
kind of funny, this is the busiest season I
have had with working with the team and my time
is limited to train, but this year is the best
I have done,” stated Cafro, who holding
steady at fourth place in the pro points chase.
Julie Russell took her second straight win
of the year in the Women’s A class and
now holds a 12 point lead over second place.
Russell led her class from start to finish and
recorded the fastest lap time of her class once
again, which was 7:12.09 in lap two. “Julie
has been pushing harder and the off-road style
tracks, like Lake Havasu, really suit her riding
style,” said Mike Cafro.
In the Pro-am ranks, David Haagsma put on a
hard charge and led for half of the race before
dropping back to second. Haagsma has visited
the podium twice so far this season and is the
current points leader in the Pro-am class with
65 points.
Round number four of the 2010 WORCS series
is scheduled for April 25th in Adelanto, CA
where Racetown 395 will play host as the MCR/Maxxis
team will be pushing hard to continue its domination
of the podium.
