Allstars' Pake Shinn won the Schoolboy
class & also placed second in the
A Class at Underground MX |

Allstar Rider Pake Shinn TQRA Round 1 Race Report
from Underground MX. In the first Moto of A class
Pake came out of the first turn in third place.
After making a quick pass for second Pake set
sights on the leader as he charged hard around
the track. The track was getting pretty rough
and Pake was trying to take new lines to make
the pass for first. In the closing laps as Pake
went for a wider line third place snuck in and
shut the door on Pake right before the finish
line. In the next few corners Pake stuck a wheel
in to attempt to regain second place but ended
up finishing in third.
Rain had moved in before the start of the second
moto’s. The track had started to become
very rough from the rain and the days racing.
In the A class second moto Pake started on off
in second place on the holeshot. After coming
together with first place attempting to make
a quick pass for the lead Pake stalled the machine.
Because of the rain and more weather threatening
to move in Pake had to make quick work of the
field in order to get to the front. “I
had my work cut out for me and I ended up getting
all the way up to second place in a 3 laps,”
said Shinn. Finishing 3-2 gave Pake second place
overall for the weekend.
In the Schoolboy class Pake was able to grab
two holeshots for the weekend and bring home
his first overall win for the season! “My
Media Allstars, Morehead Motorsports, and LSR
backed machine was working great this weekend
and I am extremely happy with the way the weekend
went. I am ready to keep pushing it and bring
home some championships for the Media Allstar
Team!” Said Shinn.
We will be heading to Geary, Oklahoma for round
two of the TQRA series at Raw MX on April 1,
2012.
