Ryan
Wheeler grabbed 1st overall at Spring
Creek in the 450C Class |
Cumming, GA (6/17/2010) - Fresh
off of an impressive yet limited effort at the
Spring Creek ATVA National in Millville, MN
the Media Allstars Amateur Powerhouse Team is
primed and ready to make that mid season push
in the point’s battle(s).
Both Ryan Wheeler #52 and JakeMcGraw #83 made
serious statements in Minnesota. Ryan took the
overall in 450C and followed that up with a
heat win and a second overall in the 4-stroke
C class. Jake was almost as impressive, he didn’t
win but 2 second place overall finishes can
make up quite a bit of ground in the chase for
a championship. Mark Batson #636 continued his
2010 theme of consistency. Mark went 3-10 in
the 30+A/B class for another solid 8th place.
Ronnie Higgerson #665 had another impressive
ride in the Pro-Am Unlimited class going 5-5
for 6th overall and earning some valuable points
in the process as well.

#8
Devin Stenftenagel is the current points
leader in Open C & took first place
at Spring Creek |
As the team heads into the home stretch of
the season several riders have found themselves
in good position to make a run at a championship.
Devin Stenftenagel #8 is currently the point’s
leader in Open C and sits in 3rd place in Production
C. Ryan Wheeler #52 also leads the 4-stroke
C class and finds himself 2nd in 450C. Jake
McGraw #83 climbed up the point’s ladder
after his amazing performance last weekend.
The Piketon, OH rider is 3rd in Production B
and 4-stroke B after six rounds.

#5
Josh West sits in the top 5 in points
in both the 450B & Production B Classes |
Josh West #5 took the last race off but don’t
be surprised to see him on the podium again
at Muddy Creek. Josh is putting in a solid season
so far and seems to be finding his groove at
just the right time. West sits in 3rd place
in 450B and is 5th in Production B just 24 points
behind the leader (just an insight to how tight
that points battle has been).
Mark Batson #636 has made every race this season,
and at each and every round (as mentioned earlier)
he has been consistent. Mark sits in an impressive
5th place in 30+ A/B after the halfway point
of the season. Ronnie Higgerson #665 has had
an up and down season in both Pro-Am Production
and Pro-Am Unlimited where he is sitting in
16th and 7th for the season respectively. It
looks as though his goal of a top 10 is well
within reach in both classes!
Chase Cunningham #419 has been limited in the
number of races he could attend this season
but after only scoring points at 4 rounds he’s
managed to put himself in 4th in 25+ and 8th
in Open A. With half of the season still to
go look for this seasoned veteran to make a
serious move up in all 3 of his classes.
Several riders have been missing in action
as of late for various reasons, but it looks
like the entire team should be ready to rock
and roll at Round 7 in Blountville TN. The rest
of the year looks bright for the Morehead Motorsports/
Media Allstars Amateur Powerhouse Team!
For those of you attending the Muddy Creek
National, be sure to stop by the ITP tent for
the annual ITP/Media Allstars/Big Daddy Motorsports
benefit dinner. The entire MMS/MAS Amateur Powerhouse
Team will be helping serve again this year.
The dinner proceeds go toward the 88 live to
ride fund and it gives our ATV Racing family
a chance to sit down, eat and fellowship together.
See you there!
