Maxxis' Walker Fowler Takes First Pro Career Win at Ironman GNCC
Maxxis / H&M Motorsports David Haagsma Wins Yamaha Quad-X Round 9

Suwanee, GA (10/23/2012) - Maxxis riders took wins in two national ATV series over the weekend. XC1 Pro rookie Walker Fowler took his first class victory, winning Round 12 of the GNCC, while David Haagsma rode Razr tires to a win at Round 9 of the Quad X series. The next-to-last race of the GNCC season was held October 20 in Crawfordsville, Indiana, and Round 9 of Quad X was held October 21 in Anza, California.

Walker Fowler - Yamaha YFZ450R ATV
Maxxis' #5 Walker Fowler grabbed his first GNCC XC1 Pro Career win at the Amsoil Ironman GNCC. Fowler sits second in the XC1 Pro ATV Points

Fowler, who had the series’ first-ever perfect season in XC2 Pro Am last year, took the lead mid-way through the GNCC race and held off four other riders in contention for the win, including Maxxis’ Chris Borich and Taylor Kiser, who finished fourth and fifth for the day. Fowler and Kiser both chose Razr Ballance rears and Razr 2 fronts to battle through the muddy, rocky course. Borich locked up this year’s GNCC championship at Round 10.  With one race left in the season, Fowler is in second place overall and Kiser is third. In the U2 class, Cliff Beasley took his tenth win of the year at Round 12.

David Haagsma - Honda 450R ATV
Maxxis / H&M Motorsports David Haagsma took his seventh win of the 2012 Yamah Quad-X Racing Series at Cahuilla Creek MX

Haagsma took the holeshot in both Quad X motos, with Maxxis / H&M teammate Beau Baron close behind. The two riders were first and second in Moto 1. In Moto 2, Haagsma took an easy win after Baron and another rider were unable to finish due to mechanical problems and a crash. Haagsma was pleased with the performance of his Razr Xm tires: “My Maxxis tires hooked up great off the start in both motos and put me in front. The traction coming out of the corners was awesome, and the tires are very predictable in all situations on the racetrack.”

Maxxis congratulates Walker Fowler and David Haagsma on their victories and thanks all of its riders for their outstanding performances.
