Baron took second place in the hotly contested Pro
ATV race at WORCS Round 8, held October 21-13 in
Adelanto, California.
Baron grabbed the holeshot and held the lead
for most of the event, finishing just 15 seconds
behind the first-place rider. Riding the Razr
2 in front and the Razr in the rear, the Team
Maxxis/MCR racer is currently third in the series
standings, with 163 points to date.
Maxxis’ sponsored rider Keith Johnson made
the Pro Am podium, with third place overall. Johnson
chooses the new Razr Xc front and rear tires and
is currently second in the race for the Pro Am
title, with 149 points.
Taking her sixth victory of the year, Baron’s
teammate Julie Russell clinched the Women A championship,
racking up an unbeatable 194 points to date. Russell
has landed on the podium at every race this year,
taking second place at Rounds 1 and 6.
The season’s last remaining round is scheduled
for November 11-13 in Surprise, Arizona.
