Maxxis' Dustin Wimmer took the first win of the NEATV-MX racing season at Wallkill, NY

Suwanee, GA (5/3/2011) - Dustin Wimmer took victories in the two premier classes at the Maxxis New England ATV Motocross series opener. Wimmer went 1-1 in both Pro and Pro Am for the overall victory in both classes, and took the holeshot in three of the four motos.

Competition at the event was stiff: Wimmer held off both Josh Creamer and Cody Miller in all four races. Round 1 was held May 1 in Wallkill, New York, at Walden MX.

With a soft compound and a 4PR carcass built to handle rough track conditions, Wimmer’s Orange-Label Razr MX rears along with Razr Cross fronts were perfectly suited to take him to the top of the podium. “The tires were really consistent through the hardpack and the sand sections. They really made it easy to control my bike through the whole track,” he said.

Maxxis congratulates Dustin Wimmer and thanks him for choosing the brand of champions.
