Borich wrapped up the 2011 GNCC XC1 Pro
ATV Class Championship at the Ironman

Suwanee, GA 10/25/2011) - A victory
at Round 13 clinched Chris Borich’s third
consecutive GNCC ATV title, with the longtime Maxxis
rider racking up an unassailable 306 points to date.
The race was held October 22 in Crawfordsville,
Indiana.
Borich delivered excitement with his win, coming
from third place to take the lead in the final
lap. Fellow Maxxis rider Taylor Kiser of Ballance
Racing Yamaha took second place for the day, and
is third in points going into the year’s
last race.
The victory was Borich’s eighth for the
season. He dominated the year’s early rounds,
taking first place in three of the first four
races, and followed with wins in Rounds 7, 9,
10 and 12. Throughout the year, Borich trusted
the Maxxis Razr and Razr 2, but fans can expect
to see him on the new Razr Xc at the final round.
“We just had a real good season and the
tires helped out a lot all year,” he said.
“They worked awesome at every track.”
Maxxis riders were 1-2 in XC2 Pro Am at Round
13, with the undefeated Walker Fowler taking the
victory and Gabe Phillips taking second place.
Fowler and Phillips are also first and second
in points to date. In her seventh win of the year,
Traci Cecco took first place in the Women’s
race, and has clinched the Women’s class
championship for 2011. Team UXC’s Cliff
Beasley won his 11th U2 victory in 12 races on
Bighorn 2.0 tires, and also leads his class in
points.
The season’s final race, a delayed running
of Round 5, is scheduled for November 4-6 in Hurricane
Mills, Tennessee.
