Maxxis Riders
Sweeps Podium at GNCC ATV Round 9

Suwanee, GA (7/13/2011) - Maxxis
riders swept the XC1 podium at Round 9 of the
GNCC, with a victory for Chris Borich, second
place for Taylor Kiser and third for Brian Wolf.
The race was held July 9 in Millfield Ohio.

It was a fierce contest among Borich, Kiser,
Wolf and another rider for much of the race, until
Borich took a decisive lead in the final lap.
Borich now leads XC1 Pro standings with 200 points
and five wins. Kiser is third overall and Wolf
is fifth.
“I had a good start and we came out third,”
said Borich. “There were some really gnarly
slick hills coming out of creeks, super slick,
and I pretty much was able to walk right up them
and keep moving forward.”
In XC2 Pro Am, Walker Fowler remained undefeated
with his eighth straight win. Fellow Maxxis rider
Gabe Phillips, who is second in points for the
class, was fourth at Round 9.
Traci Cecco took her fifth Women’s win
of the year and grabbed third overall in the a.m.
race. With 155 points, Cecco leads the Women’s
class.
Team UXC riders continued to dominate the utility
classes on Bighorn 2.0 tires. Michael Swift was
second in 4x4 Open at Round 9, and leads the class
by 12 points. Swift’s Teammate Cliff Beasley
continued his unbroken streak of victories in
the U2 class, pushing his overall lead to 27 points.
