Pro-Am Rider Walker Fowler took this first
GNCC vverall win at Rock Run GNCC

Suwanee, GA (6/1/2011) - Led by
Walker Fowler, who took the overall win from an
XC2 Pro Am start, Maxxis swept the top four at the
GNCC Rock Run. Round 7 of the series was held May
28 in Patton, Pennsylvania. The Ballance Racing
rider scored the fastest time at the race, with
an overall time 20 seconds shorter than Chris Borich,
who crossed the finish line first.
There was a freight train of pros up there and
nobody was able to pass," Fowler told gnccracing.com.
"I guess the pace up there wasn't as fast as the
guys in the back wanted to go, and I just got
up to them and paced off of them and made it happen."
Borich took second place overall and first in
XC1 Pro, followed by fellow Maxxis riders Brian
Wolf and Taylor Kiser, who were second and third
in the class and third and fourth overall. Borich
leads the XC1 Pro standings by 28 points.
Traci Cecco took her third Women's class win
of the year, stretching her points total to 115.
Cecco was second overall in the morning race.
Clifton Beasley remains undefeated for the season
in the U2 class, while Daryl Rath took second
place in 4x4 Open. Maxxis congratulates Walker
Fowler, Traci Cecco and Clifton Beasley on their
victories and thanks all of its riders for their
fine performances.
