Maxxis' Joel Hetrick Takes Second at Sunset Ridge MX

Maxxis' AMA ATV MX Pro Rookie Joel Hetrick took his best Pro career finish at Sunset Ridge MX aboard his new Honda TRX450R ATV with Razr Xm Tires

Hetrick took the holeshot in both motos, and turned in an impressive 3-2 performance that nabbed him second-place overall. He said that his tires were a big factor in his success. “The tires helped me out a lot this weekend at Sunset Ridge. The new Razr Xm tires hooked up great on both holeshots I pulled,” he said. “The front tires turn great in the sand and on hardpacked tracks. The rear tires hooked up awesome in the turns and off the holeshot. If you haven't tried them, you need to.”

Other riders on Maxxis also did well at Round 5. Thomas Brown went 6-4 to take fourth overall, while Jeremy Lawson took seventh place in both motos for seventh overall. Joe Byrd took top ten spots in both motos, ninth and sixth, for eighth place overall. Maxxis’ riders topped the Pro Am podium as well, with Aaron Meyer taking the victory and Casey Martin in second place. Casey Martin is leading the points race to the Pro-Am championship.
