Maxxis' Dustin
Wimmer Wins AMA ATV MX Kick Off
Suwanee, GA (3/31/2010) - With
a victory for defending champ Dustin Wimmer and
a third-place finish for Josh Creamer, Maxxis
owned the podium at the ATV Motocross Championship
opener, held March 27-28 in Pell City, Alabama.
The tires of choice for Team Rockstar Makita
Suzuki racers Wimmer and Creamer were yellow-label
Razr MX rears paired with Razr Cross fronts. Wimmer,
who is vying for his third straight series title,
sealed his win by taking first place in both motos.
Creamer took the holeshot in both motos, finishing
sixth and second for third overall.
Wimmer said the tires performed well in the tough
conditions and their performance was consistent
throughout: “The track was hard as concrete,
and I had so much traction, I was wheelying out
of every turn.”
Jeremy Lawson and Patrick Brown, who like Wimmer
and Creamer rode Razrs for both races, took sixth
and ninth place overall respectively.
Maxxis congratulates Dustin Wimmer on his first
victory of the season and thanks all of its riders
for their outstanding performances.
