AMA MAXC Racing Series Heads to France Park Falls
AMA MAXC Racing - Round 5 - ATV and Motorcycle XC Racing

Logansport, IN (7/25/2013) - The AMA MAXC Racing Series will head to France Park for round 5 of the 10 round ATV & dirtbike racing series.
 
France Park is located in Logansport, Indiana – about an hour and a half north of Indianapolis. Unlike many of the venues on the AMA MAXC Racing Schedule, France Park is not a riding park, and this will be the first off-road race at this location.

“The track will be 9 miles long and will consist of a nice mixture of grass, pavement, rocks, woods, creek crossing, and it has a true park theme. It will be one of the best locations for the MAXC Racing Series we’ve ever had!” stated AMA MAXC Racing Series Owner Mike Gibbs
 
The venue not only will offer fresh trails for racing action, France Park offers many activities one can take part in.  Based around an old rock quarry, there is a large lake for fishing, swimming, scuba diving, and boating. There is also a zip line that runs across the lake. In addition to water sport activities, there is an 18 hole miniature golf course, hiking, and mountain bike trails. France Park Falls offers both primitive camping for $15 and RV hookups for $30.

f you participated in the Big Nasty MAXC, the France Park Falls MAXC will be considered a double points race for both ATVs and dirtbikes. In addition if you raced the Big Nasty MAXC ATV RACE, your race entry fee will be waived due to the inclement weather and scoring issues. Your paperwork will be in the preregistration area.
 
So far, it looks like there will be near perfect weather conditions for AMA MAXC round 5. Temperatures will range in the high 70’s with partly cloudy skies.

The Youth Bike Class is set to kick off the event Saturday morning at 8 a.m. followed by Youth ATV Class at 9:15 a.m, and the Peewee Class at 10:15 a.m. The adult classes will start with the Adult Bike class leaving the starting line around 11:30 a.m. and the Adult ATV Class at 2:30 p.m.
