Race will be Televised on Speed Channel

Sikeston, MO (10/12/2010) - With the forecast for perfect weather, the Oct. 16 Semo fall shootout to be taped and aired on Speedchannel at a later date continues to grow as time gets closer to this prestigous event.sponsors have been coming on board and have made things very enticing for for the riders.

Not only are the riders going to get pictures taken, be interviewed and possibly be on TV , they are now going to be receiving payback. The pro purse has been increased , and, they will also be getting holeshot paypack. The amateur classes will also be getting payback for the top 3 and getting holeshot payback. All youth riders will be getting contingency prizes, and if a deal can be closed with one more sponsor, they to will be getting top 3 payback. The contigency at this moment is over 4,000 dollars and growing.

This is all possible thanks to sponsors like Maximum RPM , Redonkulas Runts Racing, Turtle Race Engines, PEP Shocks,Scootercraft, ODI Grips, Profile Peformance, Motowoz Suspension, Haggerty Racing, Hoosier, and ATVRiders.com .

Many Pro riders have already commited to the event including Harold Goodman, Michael coburn, Brad Riley, Kirby Cooke, Frank Batista, Chuckie Creech, Jay Rehagen, Brian Ace, Tiffer Bures, Damon Brown, Mike Mahon, Doug Crossway, Trent Powell, Danny Mcraw, Chris Gary, Brandon Sullenger, Zac Willett, Rusty Tanner, just to name a few. In addition, with Halloween being just around the corner, next door is a 10 acre corn maze, huge haunted house, pumkin shooters, corn shooters, petting zoo, kiddi train rides, glow in the dark putt-putt, air jumpers, games, exhibits and more for the young and adults to enjoy. Also of note, evryone needs to be aware that you will have to rent a transponder. This was trying to be avoided, but it has become a necesity. With the amount of entries expected, the time frame given, and the need to have things flow very smoothly for TV, transponders have become a must. Although it is a small additional cost, they will by far make your weekend much less hectic, plus the lap times and other info available make them a very useful tool. But on the other hand you get to save a little money because this is not an AMA event. You don't have to have or buy an AMA card for this event.

Everyone should remember how important this event is for Quads in general. Not just TT,MX, GNCC, or Drag. but all quads. If we want to have more TV exposure in the future and make the sport grow instead of recede, then we need to put our best foot forward, attend this event, show professionalism, and give people a reason to come back. Now is your time, let's make the best of it.

With the rider response already shown, the fast, exciting layout of the track, and the added flair of national TV exposure, this is not an event to miss! Go to www.semoraceway.com for more info and any updates that may be made.
