FRE/ KTM Rider Bryan Cook took his first 2011 Pro Podium at Snowshoe GNCC

Patton, PA (6/28/2011) - FRE/KTM rider Bryan Cook earned his first podium of the season at the eighth round of the GNCC ATV Series held in Snowshoe, WV.

Cook got off to a decent start when the flag dropped, rounding the first corner around 7th position. He quickly climbed his way through the pack and moved to 3rd by the end of the first lap. He remained in 3rd place for the majority of the two-hour race until Adam McGill made a pass on him on the last lap.

Cook was beginning to settle for 4th when the 2nd place ride of Chris Borich encountered a chain problem and fell out of the race. Borich’s technical difficulty bumped Cook back up to 3rd where he happily took his first podium of the season.

“It feels great to finally get on the podium. I have been riding really well this year but have not had the total combination of speed and luck needed to get on the podium until today. Snowshoe is one of the most well known GNCC rounds so I feel fortunate to be on the podium here,” remarked Cook after the race.
