KCCR Series Heads to Clay City, Kentucky for Round 2
KCCR Series - Round 2 - Hardwicks Creek - Clay City, Ky - April 28, 2013
Clay City, KY (4/26/2013) - After a successful opening round at the MAXC Monster Mountain XC race co-sanctioned by KCCR, the Kentucky Cross Country Racing Series will head back south to its home state. Kentucky Cross Country Racing (KCCR) will host round 2 at Hardwicks Creek in Clay City, Kentucky on April 28, 2013.
Nestled in Kentucky’s Mountain Country, the venue boasts over 7,000 acres of prime real estate for great XC racing action. The track will consist of a 9 miles course with many elevation changes, moderate hill climbs, and a few shallow creek crossings. There will also be a youth track laid out that is 3 miles long.

The beautiful event location also has plenty of level grass parking and is located just 4 minutes off Interstate 64 and Kentucky Mountain Parkway - Exit 18.
There will be no district or KCCR fees this year, however an AMA card is required to race KCCR this season. If you are not already an AMA Member you can purchase your membership online at http://amajoin.com/MAXCRL or at the event.
