Monster Energy Kawasaki ATV Rider Josh Creamer Celebrating his Second Podium Finish

Irvine, CA (5/28/2008) - Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Josh Creamer added another podium to his season after two great motos during round six of the AMA ATV Motocross Series at High Point Raceway in Mount Morris, Pa. Along with his podium finish, Creamer earned the top qualifier award on Saturday. Teammates Keith Little and Russell Shumaker finished 12th and 15th respectively.

Make It a Habit
After starting the season on the podium, Creamer made his way back to the box as he earned a 4-3 finish on the day.

“It was a pretty solid race,” said Creamer. “My starts were finally coming together and I was able to be at the front, rather than work my way through the pack. My quad was really good in both motos. I feel like we can win the next one if everything comes together.”

Top Qualifier…Again
During Saturday’s timed practice session, Creamer earned his second top-qualifier award, besting the other 19 pro riders. All of the Kawasaki riders had a good session as Little and Shumaker had times within the top-10.

Riding Through the Pain
In the first moto, Shumaker was with the front pack going into the first turn, but went down and his ankle was run over. After being checked out and barely able to walk, it was determined it was sprained. He wrapped it up as tight as he could and rode to a ninth-place finish in the second moto for 15th overall.

Russel Shumaker rode to a impressive 9th place finish on a sprained ankle.

Josh Creamer is gaining momentum fast and is surely making the guys in front of him a bit nervous.

“In the second moto, I did my best to find the smoothest lines and I think that helped me get into a groove,” said Shumaker. “I couldn’t even walk to my trailer after the first moto so I was pretty happy with getting ninth. I was using crutches Monday, but I am feeling a lot better. I have enough time between now and the next race to heal up.”

Little
After an off weekend at the last round, Little stepped it up and rode to an eighth-place finish in the first moto. He ended the weekend with a 12th place overall.
