Yamaha/HotSeat
Powersports' Justin Waters took the
1st overall in Primm, NV
|
When the dust settled after three technical and
high-speed laps mid-day Saturday, out of 47 entries
Yamaha /HotSeat Powersports rider Justin Waters
finished 1st overall. In fact, it was his most
definitive win at any event this season, taking
the checkered flag more than 11 minutes and 33
seconds ahead of second place.
“The layout was similar to the WORCS
course we ran there but they added some stuff
to make it longer. On the first lap it had a
lot of bike ruts and whoops and it was rough
in the corners especially, but as the race went
on it got easier.”
Waters is making great strides this season
in the Pro division of the WORCS ATV Nationals,
and the Big 6 was a great opportunity for testing
and tuning.
“Its good to make sure your physical
training is on track, equipment is in top shape.
We only race WORCS once a month so you need
to pick up other races when you can. To come
out with a win helps in the confidence too,
for sure.”

History of Big 6
In 1995 six District 37 motorcycle
clubs came together to form the Big 6 Grand
Prix Championship Series. The purpose of the
organization was to promote off-road racing
by giving racers six unique and challenging
venues that all shared the same high quality
organization and a standard format. The Series
has since expanded to include seven rounds at
different locations in Southern California and
is sanctioned by the American Motorcyclist Association
District 37.
