- Last week all round off-road legend, David
Knight, agreed terms with Events 22 to become
a big part of the all new Events 22 Weston Beach
Enduro at Weston super Mare. Now it’s
time to announce the latest star name to show
their support of the event and that is Justin
Reid multiple British and Ulster Quadcross Champion.
Justin has been at the forefront of British
quad racing for over a decade winning multiple
championships on his way. With an injury hampered
2010 Justin is going to be very keen to get
back to winning ways. Based in Northern Ireland
and racing for the factory CanAm race team
Justin will spend many weekends traveling
backwards and forwards from the mainland contesting
many major Quad events with the Events 22
Weston Beach Enduro being a must win event
in his busy race calendar.
“The Events 22 Weston Beach Enduro
is not just about the solo riders but all
off road disciplines, this is why it’s
so important to sign up a group of ambassadors
that will help shape the five day festival;
and we extremely pleased that Justin is supporting
the event!” explains the 2011 Project
Manager Roy Barton. “I have known Justin
for a while now and to have him onboard with
Events 22 as an ambassador for the Weston
Beach Enduro is a great boost for the Saturday
event. Justin has been at the forefront of
the sport for a number of years and always
approaches everything in a professional manner
and will certainly be an asset to us. Justin
will be getting involved in some of the plans
that we have for the event and will be on
hand during the track build to make sure that
the circuit for the Saturday race is as enjoyable
as this gruelling event can be for the quad
riders.” continued Barton.
With a large number of quad entries to the
event already received in to the office, setting
the price at £99 is proving to be a
big hit with the riders. The Quad race is
shaping up to be as big an event as the solo
race and will be the main Saturday feature
