UK (3/26/2010)
- With preparations well underway for the 2010
British Championship season, which kicks off
in just over a month, multi British and Ulster
Quad Champion, Justin Reid, has recently announced
the addition of multi British and Weston Ladies
Champion, Beverley Barnes, to the newly formed
Justwin Racing race team.
After rounding out a highly successful 2009
race season by winning the P&O Winter
Supermoto series, and subsequently rewarded
for his services to sport with the Ards Borough
Sports Development Committee Sports Person
Of The Year Award, Reid has his sights firmly
focused on continued success and commented
“ Beverley is an incredibly talented
and driven athlete. She is already dominating
the ladies quad class along with posting some
brilliant overall finishes, such as at Weston
and the Great 8 where she won the Ironman
/ Ironlady class. Bev is a wonderful asset
to the Team and I look forward to helping
her achieve more success in 2010.”
In only her fourth full year of racing, Barnes
has already stamped her mark and enjoyed an
unrivalled level of success, winning the ladies
class at Weston International Beach race for
the last four years running and securing the
ladies title in the British Quad Cross Country
Championship since 2007, Barnes’ epic
performance in 2009 taking her to 2nd overall
in the Clubman class with promotion to the
Expert class for 2010, the first lady ever
to do so. “I’m honoured to have
joined Justwin Racing for 2010” commented
a delighted Barnes, “as part of the
Team Can-Am line-up with Justin in 2009, I
saw just how professional and dedicated to
the sport Justin is, and when the opportunity
arose to work with somebody who has such vast
experience and knowledge in all aspects of
racing, from training and bike prep right
through to looking after your sponsors, I
jumped at the chance and have no doubt that
2010 is going to be an exciting and successful
year.”
With no less than twenty-two Championship
titles between them at National and International
levels, Justwin Racing is without doubt one
of the most successful and exciting race teams
in the paddock for 2010. In addition to both
riders competing in the QRA ACU British Quad
Cross Country Championship, Reid will also
compete in the ACU British and MRA Ulster
Quadcross Championships with additional International
races when dates permit, while Barnes will
take in as many additional British and International
races as possible. For further information
