#14 Justin Reid wins overall at the final round of the British Supermoto Quad Championship

UK (11/17/2010) - Justin Reid was once again in dominant form as he scored 2-1-1 to take the overall win at the final round of the 2010 British Supermoto Quad Championship at the weekend.

Promoted by Norasport Racing at the spectacular Cadwell Park Racing Circuit on Saturday the 6th of November, the Lincolnshire venue provided a new challenge for Reid as he battled with the elite of the British Quad Supermoto race scene for only the second time this year, Reid quickly getting to grips with the fast and flowing British Superbike circuit that includes the infamous Mountain section where many bikes get airborne cresting a hill.

After dominating the opening round of the 2010 P&O Winter Supermoto Championship the previous weekend, Reid continued where he had left off on the Justwin Racing Yamaha Banshee with a scintillating performance that showed he is a major force to be reckoned with on the British stage. Despite making his first trip to the venue, Reid’s blistering starts from second on the grid left everyone in his wake as he took the holeshot in each of the three outings, only a missed gear while leading on the final lap of the opener preventing him taking another clean sweep with Reid taking comfortable lights to flag victories in the next two heats, the Comber rider’s dominance of the event such that he had lead twenty-seven of the twenty-eight laps raced throughout the day!

With yet another emphatic overall win and maintaining his winning streak, an ecstatic Reid commented afterwards,

“I’m annoyed about the missed gear on the opening race as another clean sweep would’ve been awesome but I still had a lot of fun today. It’s a really nice flowing circuit and the hills and blind braking zones certainly add a different twist to the usual Supermoto type circuit.
