                                Union City, TN (5/8/2012) -Team
Joe Byrd had an impressive weekend at Round 3 of
the AMA ATVA Nationals at Budd’s Creek Raceway.
Following a 6th overall finish at Round 2, Joe Byrd
stepped it up once again and pulled the fastest
qualifying time by over 2 seconds.

                                       Joe Byrd grabbed
                                        the ATVriders.com Fastest Qualifer Award
at Budds Creek | In moto 1, Joe rounded the holeshot turn in 12th
place. The rough track seemed to suit Joe’s
style as he worked his way through the field,
rounding out the top 5 as the checkered flag waved. As the gate dropped on Moto 2, Joe was riding
in a solid 3rd place position behind Yamaha’s
Chad Wienen and Baldwin Motorsport’s Josh
Upperman. Wienen and Byrd both passed Upperman
early in the first lap and proceeded to gap the
rest of the field. Joe pressured Chad for over
half the race, as he tried several times to put
                                his #7 machine out front.

                                       Joe Byrd placed sixth
overall at AMA ATV MX round 4 in Maryland | Unfortunately, Byrd began to experience mechanical
issues at the 12-minute mark and started losing
positions. Although a 6th place is not what he
had worked so hard to get, Byrd is grateful for
his 6th place finish that could have easily been
a DNF. After proving so much this round, Joe is
anxious for Round 4. Joe and his Dasa Racing PEP
Walsh backed Honda 450r will be more than ready
to ride up front for a podium spot. In the Women’s Class, Team Joe Byrd rider
Adrienne Cooper scored her second win in a row.
After 2 bad starts in both motos, Cooper rallied
back and fought her way through the other racers,
leaving her with the overall. With 2 consecutive
wins, Cooper has taken over the points lead and
will be working hard to attempt to maintain that
lead throughout the season. Team Joe Byrd is very excited for Round 4 at
Sunset Ridge MX on May 19th. We would like to
