JB Racing’s Jeffrey Rastrelli Takes Top Five at Sunset Ridge MX
Duck Lloyd Scores Second on the Pro-Am Podium

Walnut, IL (6/5/2014) - The JB Racing / Cheerwine Team had a successful weekend at Sunset Ridge MX for the fourth round of the AMA ATV MX National Championship Series. Jeffery Rastrelli matched his season best finish of fifth in the AMA ATV Pro Class. Duck Lloyd also took an impressive second place in the Pro-Am class.

Rastrelli started the weekend off on his JB Can-Am by claiming seventh in the first moto of the AMA Pro ATV class after leading the race in lap one. He followed that up with an impressive ride, taking fourth in the second moto. The 7-4 combination was enough to give the up and coming pro the final spot in the top five.

“This weekend was successful, and I am so happy with how everything went in the Pro class. It was great to battle with the front pack and come away with a top five overall. I can’t thank everyone enough who stands behind me and supports me. My JB Racing Can-Am was great and I couldn’t be happier,” regarded Rastrelli after the race.

Duck Lloyd had his best race of the season by claiming second in the Pro-Am class and taking the win in the Open A. Lloyd went 5-3 in the Pro-Am class and made his first podium appearance of the season. He scored 4-1 in Open A for his first class win of the year.

“It was an awesome weekend. It felt great to be on the box in Pro-Am and earning the win in Open A just topped everything off. I couldn’t be more excited with how it went. My JB Racing Can-Am was dialed in and everything felt awesome,” regarded Lloyd.

Blake Sarver had one of the best races of the season. Sarver claimed fourth in Schoolboy Sr. and rounded out the top five in Schoolboy Jr Open. Sarver scored 6-4 in Schoolboy Sr. and 6-6 in Schoolboy Jr. Open.

“This weekend worked great, my training is paying off and everything worked well. I am happy to have gained some valuable points and had two solid finishes,” said Sarver who is ranked third in the Schoolboy Sr. points chase.

Grayson Eller claimed third in the Schoolboy Jr. class. Eller went 1-4 at the round.  Eller had a great start in moto one and set a quick pace as the leader. He ran the fastest lap of the moto on lap three, an impressive 02:01.071. He continued his pace and took the checkers by 06.034. He currently sits fourth in the championship chase.

Logan Peters earned second in the 50 Single Speed Class. Peters went 3-2 in the motos. Logan’s second place securely puts him in second in the points for the class.

Tyler Peters took ninth in Schoolboy Sr. Peters had some rough luck in moto one, scoring twelfth. However, he followed up with a fifth in moto two. Peters currently holds fifth in the championship chase.

The JB Racing / Cheerwine Team will return to the gate in just over a week on June 14-15th at the Built Ford Tough Briarcliff ATV National in Nashport, Ohio.
