JB Racing's Brogan Guyer Earns Two Class Wins at Wildcat Creek

Brogan Guyer earned the win in both the 90 Automatic Sr. (12-15) & the 90 CVT (1-15) class at Wildcat Creek MX

Union, SC (5/15/2013) –The JB Racing / Cheerwine Team put on a stellar show at the fourth round of the Mtn. Dew ATV MX National Championship Series in Rossville, Indiana. The race was held for the first time at the Wildcat Creek MX and the new track didn’t phase the talented roster of the JB Race Team.  The team brought home several class wins and strong finishes at the inaugural event.

Brogan Guyer raced to two class wins at the round. Guyer went 1-1 in the 90 Automatic Sr. (12-15) class and followed up with another 1-1 score card in the 90 CVT (8-15) class. In the 90 Automatic Sr. class Guyer got off to great starts in both motos and lead all four laps each time. He even turned the fastest laps of both motos, a quick 01:49.559 in moto one and an even more impressive 01:44.943 in moto two.

In the 90 CVT class, Guyer also led from start to finish during each moto. He again turned the fastest laps on the track and put down consistently fast lap times. Guyer currently sits in fifth in the 90 Automatic Sr. class and second in the 90 CVT class points chase.

Blake Sarver put his JB Racing / Cheerwine Honda to work in the ultra-competitive Schoolboy Jr. (13-15) class. He led from start to finish in both motos and laid down the fastest lap during each race.  Sarver has a perfect record in the class and is looking to sweep the class as the year progresses. He currently has a 28 point lead in the class.

“Wildcat Creek went really well. I had two great starts in the Schoolboy Jr. class and was able to just put my head down and pull away. I had to great starts and my quad was dialed in perfectly. It was a great weekend,” said Sarver.

The # 8, Maddison Guyer, has shown she has what it takes to run with both the top girls and top boys in the youth ranks. Maddison finished 3-5 in the Girls (12-15) class, which earned her fifth for the round. She is currently tied for the points lead in the Girls Class. Maddison also put on a great showing in the Schoolboy Jr. (13-15) class where she scored 4-6 to take sixth for the day. She sits fourth in the points for Schoolboy and is the highest finishing girl in the class.

Grayson Eller raced his #171 machine to several solid finishes at Wildcat Creek. Eller put in two solid rides in the Schoolboy Jr. (13-15) class. He had a good start in moto one and was in fourth for the first three laps, he put on a hard charge near the end and not only clocked his fastest lap of the day, but also took over the third spot. His score of 3-5 earned him third for the day. He currently holds sixth place in the Schoolboy Jr. points chase.

Tyler Peters came on strong at the round and earned two top five finishes. Peters took fourth in Schoolboy Jr. Open after chalking up 5-5 finishes in the motos. He also laid down some hot laps in the Super-Mini (13-15) class by earning 6-3 finishes. He earned himself third for the round and currently sits fourth in the Super-Mini points standings.

Duck Lloyd put on a solid race in the Junior 25+ class; he scored 2-8 at the round and finished in fourth. Lloyd currently holds the points lead with a 24 point cushion over second position. Lloyd also finished thirteenth in the Pro-Am class; he currently holds down fifth in the Pro-Am Championship chase.

Jeff Rastrelli raced his JB Racing Can-Am to a twelth place finish at the round. Rastrelli got involved in a tangle early on in the first moto and had to work his way from 18th on lap one to 14th on lap fifteen. Rastrelli finished ninth in the second moto. He currently sits ninth in the AMA Pro ATV points chase. 

The JB Racing / Cheerwine Team will be back in action May 25th and 26th at Sunset Ridge in Walnut, Illinois. Racing action is sure to be exciting across the board as the team fights to claim top honors in their respective classes.
