JB Racing's Duck Lloyd Second at Steel City ATV Motocross
JB Racing / Cheerwine Racers Earn Top Finishes in Youth Ranks

Duck Lloyd went 3-4 to place second at AMA ATV Motocross Round 7

Masontown, WV (7/12/2013) - The JB Racing / Cheerwine team had another successful weekend at the seventh round of the AMA Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross National Championship Series. Duck Lloyd raced his JB Suzuki to his best finish of the season by taking second in the Pro Am class. The JB Racing youth also earned top finishes, with Maddison Guyer taking her fifth win in the Girls class.

Duck Lloyd got off to a good start in the first moto of the Pro Am class. He was in fifth on lap one and charged to take over the fourth spot on lap three. He advanced again on lap four when he moved into the third spot.  Lloyd remained there in a heated battle with the front-runners. He crossed the checkers just 03.285 behind the leader.

The second moto started out similar to the first with Lloyd in fourth during lap one. He moved to third on lap four, before taking the second position on lap seven. Lloyd’s 3-4 finishes were good enough for second place overall. He currently holds second in the Pro Am points chase.

Jeff Rastrelli matched his season best finish with a seventh place in the AMA Pro ATV class. Rastrelli finished 8-7 in the motos. He is currently ranked eighth in the pro class points.

“I had a really good race. I had a great time battling and my JB Racing / Cheerwine Can-Am was working great. It gets better every race,” said Rastrelli after the race.

Maddison Guyer took another win in the Girls class after scoring 1-1 in the motos. She was also the highest finishing girl in the competitive Schoolboy Jr. class. She earned third with 4-3 finishes.

Brogan Guyer earned his third win in the 90 Automatic Senior Class. Guyer went 1-1 and turned the fastest lap in both motos. His fastest lap of the weekend was a quick 02:16.176 during moto two. Guyer also took third in the 90 CVT Class.

Blake Sarver continues to lead the Schoolboy Jr. class after taking second at the round. He finished 2-4 in the motos; he also turned the fastest lap in moto one, an impressive 02:09.307.

Tyler Peters earned fifth in the Super Mini class at Steel City Motocross

Tyler Peters put in two solid rides. Peters took fifth in the Supermini class after scoring 5-4. He then took seventh in the Schoolboy Jr. Open class with a scorecard of 6-7.Grayson Eller raced to two seventh place finishes. He scored 9-8 in the 90 Open class and 5-10 in the Schoolboy Jr.

The JB Racing / Cheerwine Team will be back in action this weekend at the eighth round of the AMA Mtn. Dew ATV MX National Championship Series. The round will be held in New Berlin, New York at Unadilla. The action will be exciting across the track as all the racers prepare to put it all on the line as the season begins to draw to a close.
