Ontario, CA (9/17/2012) - ITP’s BajaCross tire has been a hit with demanding ATV and especially UTV owners from the first moment it was rolled out three years ago. After all, at that time this was ITP’s most rugged tire ever, built to tackle the harshest conditions and heaviest side-by-side applications while still being light and responsive enough for 4x4s and utility quads as well. The BajaCross even proved itself immediately in its namesake environment, winning major races in legendary Baja.
The ITP BajaCross tire’s versatility has now been bumped up significantly with the addition of a new size: a big, bold 30x10R-14. This beast not only provides greater ground clearance to help a machine get over tougher obstacles, but because of a new, lightweight design it also offers better flexibility for an all-around boost in grip, handling and ride comfort.
This new tire still utilizes all the advanced features that have set the BajaCross apart from the start. An 8-ply rating and strong radial construction has resulted in a high level of durability. Our extended-life rubber compound and innovative overlapping tread pattern provides a smooth, predictable ride as well as slow wear characteristics. Stepped lugs provide consistent tread edges as the tire wears, for predictable performance throughout the long life of the tire. Wraparound lugs provide improved shoulder protection, while a super deep Rim Guard offers the best wheel lip protection in the business. Despite its strength, the BajaCross’s advanced radial carcass design delivers the most comfortable, trail-compliant ride available.
The ITP BajaCross is made in the U.S.A. and is now available in eight sizes: 25x8R-12, 25x10R-12, 26x9R-12, 26x11R-12, 26x10R-14, 26x11R-14, 28x10R-14 and 30x10R-14.
