ITP ATV Racers Take Podium at RedBud AMA ATV MX
AMA ATV MX Championship - Round 9 - RedBud - July 28, 2012

ITP's Sean Taylor
ITP's #38 Sam Rowe won the School Boy Jr. Class & second in the School Boy Sr. Class at AMA ATV MX Round 9
Millfield, OH (8/2/2012) - According to Wikipedia, Cercis canadensis (Eastern Redbud) is a large shrub or small tree native to eastern North America from Southern Ontario, Canada south to northern Florida, United States.

It’s also common to southeastern Michigan, where there’s a famous racetrack named after this wild plant species. At the end of July, another wild species invaded the grounds in the form of the ATV motocross competitor.

Team ITP harvested an impressive crop of trophies at the penultimate round of the 2012 ATV MX National Championship Series, held at Redbud MX. Using a wide selection of ITP Holeshot, QuadCross MX and Turf Tamer tires, many of our riders planted their boots firmly on the podium.

ITP's Chloe Buerster
#125 Chloe Buerster won both motos in the Women's Class to take the Overall
Chloe Buerster had another fruitful weekend, sweeping the Women’s class with a 1-1 moto tally for the overall victory. This Janssen Motorsports/Roberts Racing Outlaws rider also went 2-2 in the 4-Stroke B division for second overall against a lot of guys. With one event to go in the season, she holds second position in points in Women, and third in 4-Stroke B.

Young Maci Devenport continues to grow her championship hopes with triumphs in two classes. A 1-1 score in 90 Production (8-15) has put her out of reach of rivals in this class, while a 1-2, first overall finish in Girls (12-15) is bringing that title down to the wire.

Wisconsin’s Samuel Rowe plowed over the Schoolboy Jr. (13-15) class with a clean 1-1 sweep, and backed it up with second overall in Schoolboy Sr. (14-17). The Janssen Motorsports-powered Root River Racing star leads the standings in both classes.

ITP's Sam Rowe
ITP's Merrill Crose
Samuel Row went 1-1 to win the Schoolboy Jr. (13-15) & second overall in Schoolboy Sr. (14-17) at RedBud
Merrill Crose won three classes at RedBud ATV MX aboard his ITP prepped Can-Am DS450 Sport ATV

Merrill Crose spread his winning ways all over four different fields. He plucked moto wins in 450 A, Open A, and Junior 25+, and was second in both motos of Veteran 30+. In all, this Missouri visited the overall podium three times and holds the runner-up position in points in all four classes.

In the 450 A hothouse, Root River Racing’s Dalton Hicks bloomed with a first moto win and second overall, keeping him in third in the standings for the season.
Haedyn Mickelson reaped top-three finishes in five out of the six motos he contested at Redbud, resulting in final podium appearances in Schoolboy Sr. (14-17) and Super-Mini (13-15). This Root River rider is second and third in the standings in those two classes, respectively, as well as third for the season in Schoolboy Jr. (13-15).

Another Root River Mickelson — Noah — germinated a second overall with 4-2 scores in 90 Modified (12-15), helping him hold fourth in season points.

A mature Sean Taylor staked his claim to the podium in Pro Am Unlimited. The Root River team member holds fourth in the standings in this class, as well as fifth in Pro Am Production.

Fellow Pro Am Unlimited competitor Cody Janssen of the Janssen Motorsports / Roberts Racing Outlaws squad farmed valuable points to maintain his top-three position in this class.

Championships will be picked at the final event of the series at Loretta Lynn’s in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, on August 11-12.

In ATV MX for 2012, Team ITP consists of Cody Janssen and Chloe Buerster of Janssen Motorsports/Roberts Racing Outlaws, Merrill Crose, Jeffrey Rastrelli, Brian Johnson, Kyle Fix, Benjamin Brocado, Maci Devenport and the entire Root River Racing team: Jordan Digby, Mike Barnhart, Dalton Hicks, Haedyn Mickelson, Noah Mickelson, Brent Sellers, Sean Taylor, Alexander Gillette, Samuel Rowe and Allyson Westfield.
