#5 Bryan Cook |
Marion, OH (3/27/2009) - 2009
FMF Steele Creek GNCC Round #3 was held in Morganton,
North Carolina on March 21, 2009. As with every
GNCC race track, this one would prove to be
difficult, but Houser Racing's Bryan Cook #5
took the overall. "The track in North Carolina
got rough and rutted but luckily for me, I had
my Houser Racing Swing Arm and Houser Racing/Hess
XC Linkage on my Honda TRX450R. The extra travel
this set-up provides helped to smooth out all
the bumps and helped me conserve the energy
I needed to hang on for the win." said
Cook after his first season win.
The track may have been tough, but Houser Racing
Pro riders had a great day. "The track
was very one-lined, with few places to pass"
said Houser Racing's Taylor Kiser #6. He managed
to place 4th overall after not getting the best
start. "I worked my way up to second place,
but then I made a little mistake which cost
me eight positions. I was extremely happy to
work my way back up to fourth after that. My
finish this past weekend secured my overall
points lead by 3 points. My Houser Racing and
Ohlins suspension has been working great. No
complaints!" All the exposure Kiser has
gotten draws a lot of attention to his Houser
Racing EZ-Up before the races. He says he enjoys
talking with everyone and encourages anyone
to stop by for a quick chat and a look at his
Houser Racing equipped Yamaha YFZ450.

Warnert Racing Team Riders are showing others
that the Houser Racing equipped CanAm is competitive
and worth a second look. Chris Bithell #13 ;
finished in 6th place for the weekend, while
Brent Sturdivant #105 finished tenth overall.
Chris' brother Jamie, also running Houser Racing
suspension, is showing great potential as a
CanAm rider, finishing in his third 2nd place
finish for the year in the College A class,
28th overall.
Four Houser Racing Pro Riders finished in the
Top Ten at the FMF Steele Creek 2009 GNCC ATV
Race. You can check out Chris Bithell and Brent
Sturdivant under the CanAm Warnert Racing tent,
while Bryan Cook and Taylor Kiser can be found

Houser Racing products.
Finally, a big congratulations to Bryan and
Bonnie Cook on their first pregnancy. Everyone
at Houser Racing wishes both of them the best
of luck and look forward to meeting the little
one toward the end of the year.
