Waters currently sits just outside
top ten in twelfth place in the
WORCS ATV Pro Class

It's been said many times - “You can't
win if you don't finish.” The 2011
World Offroad Racing Championship ATV series
continues to pound this point home, and
Yamaha rider Justin Waters is glad he's
one of the few claiming a clean record.
With no major mechanical issues and no injuries
this season, he's using the two-month-long
summer break to continue to train hard and
get ready for the final push.
After five rounds, Justin sits 12th in
points right now - MCR owner and racer
Mike Cafro is just ahead of him in 11th,
but the three-point gap is realistic to
make up in even one race, certainly over
the remaining four races in the WORCS
series. The all-important Top Ten is realistically
within his grasp, as Motoworks rider Dillon
Zimmerman sits only six points ahead.
In fact, the next three riders above Zimmerman
are each only one point apart, so its
setting up to be an incredibly competitive
last half of the season. If you can just
finish – which Justin has done at
every race this year so far.
“It's always about riding smart,
but with this level of competition you
have to push hard every race. You have
to have equipment that can take a beating
for 90 minutes and not only get you across
the finish line every time, but be ready
to grab a pass when you can. I've got
great sponsors that put me on the best
stuff. Most of my sponsors have been with
me for several years for a reason - I
totally trust the equipment I have. And
just wait until you see the new 2012 Moose
Gear they just previewed...”
What else has made his short-list of
“must have” equipment recently?
Look for Waters to debut a new A-arm design
from Teixeira Tech, a unique black powdercoat
finish for his bumper from Blingstar,
and possibly a new nerf bar design as
well.
The life of a Pro racer is not all training,
testing and tuning though. Justin recently
found time to polish up the YFZ450R for
a page in the Moto365 Blingstar 2012 ATV
GIRLS Calendar – with the obligatory
hot chick in a bikini draped over it.

And to prove the season isn't on hold
for WORCS racing – hot on the heels
of his Big 6 Grandprix win, watch for
Justin and teammate Cody Mitchell to defend
their MRAN Night Race Championship title
later this month.
