Holz Racing's RJ Anderson Wins
at Cahuilla Creek WORCS

Lynden, WA (8/8/2012) - Straight
out of southern California... a busy weekend leaves
RJ Anderson tied in points going into the final
round. At round #7 of the 2012 WORCS series, held
at Cahuilla Creek MX in Anza, CA — for only
the second time this year, RJ Anderson pulled
a holeshot in the WORCS Series Production 1000
Side by side class and lead wire-to-wire for the
win. With the Lucas Oil Off-Road series racing
in nearby Glen Helen, the WORCS crew moved the
race up on Saturday to accommodate racers who
run both in series. This meant racers ran ahead
of the ATVs for the first time this year —
on a smoother track. RJ and his Holz-built RZR
XP rocketed off the line and lead the four lap
race, finishing with an elapsed time of 38:43.
“This was a great race today. Coming off
my rough round at Utah, I really wanted to get
back out front, and run my own race. I put my
head down for lap one and built a lead and then
drove my own race and never looked back.”
said RJ Anderson.
When there’s 33 cars on the track, the
off-road section visibility is always a challenge
as the track got extremely dusty and being in
the lead gives you a distinct advantage but RJ
extended his lead through the motocross section
with his Walker Evans 2.5” shocks. “We
want to get a win at the last race in Taft and
win the championship in this Holz/Walker Evans
Polaris RZR-XP 900. Mark is working on a complete
race-ready package and contingency plan for next
year and it would be great to call it a championship

Next up Mark Holz and Scott Kiger’s Coastal
/ HRP RZR XP will compete at the Best in the Desert
General Tire Vegas to Reno on August 17th. RJ
Anderson and the rest of the HRP UTV Racers will
be ready to do battle and finish out the 2012
WORCS Series September 14-16 in Taft, CA.
