Lynden, WA (3/23/2012) - Round
3 of the World Off-Road Championship Series was
hosted at the Crazy Horse Campground in Lake Havasu
City, Arizona on Saturday, March 17. Holz Racing/Walker
Evans Racing pilot RJ Anderson drove a solid pace
to win the SXS Production 1000 class. RJ took
the checkered flag in his Holz-built RZR XP 900
with an official time of 41:33.11, a full minute
faster than the second place finisher. Todd Seaver
drove his Holz Racing-equipped RZR XP to a fourth-place
finish, also in SXS Production Class. Earlier,
Josh Frederick won the Pro ATV Class and Dillon
Zimmerman placed 3rd on their Holz-equipped Motoworks/Can-Am
ATVs.
Across the country, Round 2 of the Grand National
Cross Country Racing Series , “The General”,
was held at Aonia Pass, Georgia. In UTV Open Modified
Class, Kyle Chaney earned a second-place podium
position in his Commander 1000, and Scott Kiger
placed 3rd driving a RZR XP, both outfitted with
Holz Racing Products.
The next round of the World Off-Road Championship
Series will be held April 13-15 at Speed World
MX in Surprise, Arizona. Round three of the Can-Am
Grand National Cross Country Series, The FMF Steele
Creek GNCC, is in Morganton, North Carolina, March
31 - April 1.
