2011 HLR ATV Amateur Motocross
Championship Schedule
Fouth Season of ATV Amateur Motocross Championships
Huntsville, MO (4/26/2011)
- The ATV Amateur Motocross Championship is in
its fourth season and the qualifiers are already
under way, and the turnouts at them are looking
good.
The outdoor track at HLR has been closed so HLR
had to find a suitable place
to have the championship event and The promoters
for the track at Finger
Lakes State Park has stepped up to have the Championship
race at their
facility Just north of Columbia, Missouri on Saturday
& Sunday August 20 &
21 2011. HLR Will still be Promoting the Championship
event, it has just
been moved.
For the 2011 Championship 11 tracks across the
country in 6 different states
will hold regional qualifiers that advance 5 riders
from each class to the
Championship race.
To qualify for the Championship a rider must
purchase a qualifier sheet at a
designated qualifier race and finish in the top
5 of qualifying riders to
advance.
New for 2011, riders can go to HLR Motorsports
website and download a
qualifier form to mail in and can use Paypal to
pay for them. If a rider is
qualifying in more than one class they must purchase
a qualifier sheet for
each class they are qualifying in. Qualifier sheets
are $10 per class. This
charge will be in addition to your normal Entry
fee.
The ATV Amateur Championship final will be an
AMA sanctioned event. AMA/ATVA
cards will be required to race at the championship
event.
Riders can race at as many qualifiers as they
want. If a rider has already qualified once their
name will be disregarded in the results from the
next race and the next person will qualify. Other
riders that do not want to qualify should still
show support for their local track and race at
their local qualifier. You do not need to buy
a qualifier form just to race at your local qualifier.
