Lifter Products’ owner Scott Smith is teaming
up with experienced King of the Hammers Racer Aaron
Peters for a first round bout in the UTV race at
2012 Griffin King of the Hammers on February 9.
The duo will race a transformed 2012 Polaris RZR
                              XP 900 complete with High Lifter’s 28”
Radial Outlaw tires and Arched Radius Bars. High Lifter Teams Up
with Custom Splice & EverythingSxS.com2012 Griffin King of Hammers
                                  UTV Race - February 9, 2012
Custom Splice and EverythingSxS.com began the
RZR XP 900’s transformation several months
ago as they prepared for the challenging terrain
presented at the ultimate desert race in Johnson
Valley, California. The addition of the 28”
Radial Outlaw tires gave the RZR XP over 3,000
biting edges and extensive siping that allows
for superior traction in most environments. In
addition to the tire upgrade, High Lifter’s
Arched Radius Bars were installed maximizing the
available space in the rear radius bar area. The RZR XP project was made possible with the
help of many partners including Custom Splice,
High Lifter Products, WARN Winches, Wide Open
Design, Holz Racing Products, Rugged Radios, Pro

and Hyper Wheels. Peters, owner of Ape Eater Racing, is no stranger
to off-road racing in the desert climate. Last
season he drove and co-drove for the In the Pink
Racing team. The addition of Smith to the team
brings a vast amount of experience with aftermarket
UTV accessories as well as extensive knowledge
about powersports product development. Smith said
he is looking forward to expanding his riding
and racing repertoire at King of the Hammers,
“It’s time to trade in the mud-slinging
Outlaws and hit the desert in California! The
great thing about being in the powersports industry
is that no matter where you ride – whether
it’s mud, snow, rocks, dunes, trails –
there’s a common love of the outdoors that
only fellow riders have. It’s that love
and the excitement that makes me ready for this
race in California!” With the King of the Hammers race less than a
month away, High Lifter Products, Custom Splice,
and EverythingSxS.com are confident that the race
will be a strong start to a great 2012 UTV racing
                                season.
