Ballance Racing Set to Race 10 Hour Heartland Challenge on Aug 21st

Carlisle, IA (8/19/2010) - The third annual GBC Motorsports Heartland Challenge Presented by SAFRS is set for August 19-21, 2010.

Thee racing action will begin on Friday with the 4 Hour UTV challenge and the 1 Hour Mini RZR Challenge, and it will continue on Saturday with the 10 Hour ATV Challenge and 3 Hour Youth ATV Challenge,

In addition to an action packed weekend of racing, The Heartland Challenge will once again coincide with the last weekend of the famous Iowa State Fair in Des Moines, IA which attracts over one million visitors annually.

Carlisle, which is a suburb of Des Moines is the home of the Heartland Challenge. The race location is conveniently located near plenty of hotels, restaurants, and the Des Moines International Airport, all of which are located within 12 miles of the track.

Yamaha's Ballance Racing's Bill Ballance, Taylor Kiser & Walker Fowler are signed up to compete for the $6,000 1st Place price in the Pro Class with their YFZ450X prepped and ready to race. Also, Jarrod McClure and Jeff Pickens are teaming up again in the Pro Class.
