Pala, CA (7/18/2013) - The H&M Motorsports Team claimed two victories at Pala Raceway during the sixth round of the Rocky Mountain ATV MC WORCS Series. Beau Baron put his Maxxis Tires Honda on the center of the box in the Pro ATV class for the fifth time this season. David Haagsma won the SxS Production 700 class and took second on the ATV side of things.

The track was dusty with technical dirt sections, virgin trail and a gnarly motocross section at the Pala Raceway. Beau Baron didn’t let the conditions faze him as he hammered his way around the course and earned his fifth consecutive win this season.

Baron had a mid-park start and used his Sparks engine to rocket into third as the pros came through the first corners. He pushed to the second position on lap four after making a pass work on the motocross track. He continued to charge and clocked the fastest lap, an impressive 08:31.030 on lap four. He pushed ahead and took over the lead on lap six; Baron didn’t relax once he had the number one spot. He flew around the track and took the victory with 01:36.519 to spare.

“My Maxxis Tires were awesome. They still look new! My Sparks motor ripped off the start; I had a late kick, but the power was all there,” said Baron from the podium.

David Haagsma continued to dominate the SxS 700 Class in his Polaris RZR 570 earning his fifth win of the season

David Haagsma had a very successful weekend on his H&M Motorsports machines. Haagsma raced his Polaris RZR 570 to yet another victory in the SxS Production 700 class.

“My Maxxis Tires and Curtis Sparks engine took me to the front right from the start. I had no problem getting the holeshot and then ran my own race until the checkers. I pushed it hard, and really made sure to keep my RZR in good shape,” said Haagsma after his win.

After taking the win in the SxS race, Haagsma put in a solid race in the Pro ATV class. Haagsma had a good start, but was pinched out in the second turn. He then ran into bad luck during the first lap and got stuck behind other racers who were having issues. He rallied and charged from seventh on lap one to third on lap ten. He then began an intense battle with another racer for the second spot. Haagsma was able to secure the second position on lap eleven and he remained there until the checkers.

The H&M Motorsports / Maxxis Tires duo will be back on the line August 9th – 11th. They will both being going strong on their H&M machines as both ATV and SxS championships are on the line for this talented team.
