Maxxis / H&M Motorsports Mid-season Quad X Series Update
Yamaha Quad-X Racing Series - Round 5 - Surprise, AZ - June 23, 2012

H&M Motorsports David Haagsma

Bakersfield, CA (6/30/2012) - At the midway point of the 2012 Yamaha Quad X series, Maxxis/H&M Motorsports’ David Haagsma is still in contention for the pro championship after the first night race of the season at Speedworld in Surprise, AZ.

This has been a breakthrough season for David Haagsma as he has taken three out of five overall wins this season, which he is hoping will lead him to his first ever Pro Quad X championship.

While Haagsma has seem much success so far this season, round five was not kind to him. Haagsma was ready to dominate and add another win to his season, but unfortunately, Haagsma encountered issues in both motos and would not be able to finish. Despite the setback, Haagsma is still staying positive and is more determined than ever to take the win at round six. “It’s racing and there’s not much you can do about it. I am a little disappointed but I’m going to come back strong at Glen Helen and hopefully take a couple of wins,” said Haagsma.

H&M Beau Baron

Maxxis/H&M motorsports’ Beau Baron also had his fair share of issues for this round. Baron did well in the first moto, with a fourth place finish, but in moto two, he was only able to complete seven laps before having to pull off the track. Baron has been doing well this season and is currently fourth in series points but could easily take over third at round six.

The next round of the 2012 Quad X series will be a double header with rounds six and seven hosted at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, CA on July 14th – 15th where the Maxxis/H&M Motorsports team will be going for the podium.
