                                  Bakersfield, CA (4/25/2012) -
Maxxis / H&M Motorsports’ David Haagsma
topped the podium again at round number three
of the 2012 Yamaha Quad X series. This was Haagsma’s
second straight win that now has him in the
                                  pro points lead.

Competitive Edge MX in Hesperia, CA hosted
this round of the series. The weather was
great and the track was fast and had many
huge jumps that suited the H&M Motorsports
                                    team’s riding style well.
                                  Maxxis/H&H Motorsports’ David Haagsma
upset the competition at round number two
by taking his first-ever pro Quad X overall
win and there was even more reason to celebrate
at round three after Haagsma dominated both
pro motos to win the overall.

Haagsma grabbed both Pro moto holeshots
aboard his Curtis Sparks powered Honda
                                          450R ATV |

In the first moto, David Haagsma grabbed
the holeshot and began to pull away from the
competition. Haagsma increased his lead with
every lap and cruised to what seemed and easy
                                    win.
For the second moto, Haagsma again grabbed
the holeshot, but he was under immediate pressure
from the competition. Haagsma rode smart and
consistent and was able to hold off any attempts
from his competitor. Haagsma was able to pull
a gap on the rest of the pack and again cruised
to the finish line for the win.
“It felt great to take another win
today. My Curtis Sparks engine was amazing
off the start and had tons of power this weekend.
I also have to thank Allan and everyone at
H&M and Maxxis for their support and helping
get this win and take over the points lead.
I’m going to go out there and keep trying
my best and if all goes well, maybe win a
championship at the end of the year,”
                                    said Haagsma.

strong in moto two for a third place finish,
giving him sixth overall for the day.
