David
Haagsma took his season best finish
at Glen Helen taking second overall
in the ATV Pro Class |
Bakersfield, CA (9/27/2011) - H&M
Motorsports’ David Haagsma made his way
to the final round of the 2011 Yamaha Quad X
series held at Glen Helen Raceway this past
weekend where he went 2-2 for 2nd O/A on the
weekend and putting a stamp on his MX season
with a season best finish.
David would gate well and come off the line
in second for Moto 1 where he battled Beau
Baron for the entire first Moto and put in
a solid effort keeping Yamaha’s Dustin
Nelson in site. Haagsma had a great run and
was able to hold off Baron for 2nd in Moto
1.
In Moto 2, Davi pulled another great start
and quickly settled right in behind Nelson
and stayed there for the entire Moto despite
holding off his WORCS MCR/Maxxis teammate
Baron who finished right behind him in 3rd.
“The season went well for me and I’m
glad I could finish out strong with this 2nd
O/A. I felt I had some good races this year
and even missing some earlier rounds, I was
happy with my performances and I’m already
looking ahead to next year and being a title
contender in this series. I’d like to
congratulate Dustin Nelson on his 5th Quad
X Championship, thats quite an accomplishment.”
David Haagsma of H&M Motorsports

13th for the final round of the 2011 WORCS
