Bakersfield, CA (5/28/2010) - Davi
Haagsma would make his return to the WORCS
series this past weekend right where he left
off, and that is on top.
Haagsma who continues doing double duty back
east, came out to California doing all business
to keep the points lead and thats exactly
what he did. Davi had came off an up and down
past three weeks. First, Haagsma would find
himself just outside of qualifying at the
AMA MX Round #3 in Birch Creek, but returned
to Round #4 at Sunset Ridge where he would
earn a solid earned 19th O/A out of 30+ Pro-Am
Production entries in the highly competitive
class.
Leaving the east coast, Davi would arrive
in Honeylake ready to do damage in the WORCS
series. Haagsma qualified 1st out his Saturday
Production A class, giving him a great gate
pick on Sunday for the main. Davi would pull
the holeshot and never look back, leading
the entire 2 hour race and giving his MCR
Racing team a comfortable 34 point lead in
the Pro-Am class.
"Davi has came along way in the back
east series. I don't think people realize
from the outside sometimes how busy doing
these two series can be. When were not racing,
were testing. When were not testing, were
traveling, so the demand starts to take a
toll. I will tell you, we have a tremendous
amount of support behind our program and I
can't thank them enough. Were looking forward
to the second half." Allan McCostlin
of H&M Motorsports
H&M's next race will be this upcoming
weekend at Round #5 of the AMA ATV MX Championships
at the famous Steel City Raceway, while returning
home the following week to compete at Round
#6 of the WORCS ATV series.
