Bakersfield, CA (7/31/2009) - Bakersfield's
H&M Motorsports/ Kawaski ATV team made
the short trip down to Racetown 395 this past
weekend, where they took part in Round #5
of the ITP/ Yamaha Quadcross series. H&M's
hot shot Davi Haagsma continues to amaze the
west coast ATV industry by posting a 2nd O/A
in the Open Pro class. Haagsma who had an
impressive 4th place finish in Moto 1, came
back with a podium spot, 3rd in Moto 2, enough
to give him a 4-3 tally and 2nd place on the
day.Haagsma continues to show maturity, patience
and drive inside the young 16 year-old from
Bakersfield.
Haagsma's teammates also posted top finishes
on the day rounding out a successful weekend
for the privateer ran team out of California.
Chase Thomas chalked up a 6-5 score giving
him a 6th O/A on the day in the 450 Production
EXP class, while younger team pilot Justin
Klinger rose to the occasion capitalizing
with an average Moto 1 finish of 8th, but
then came out and stomped with a win in Moto
2 for a 4th O/A and continues to hold the
points lead in the 450 Production NOV class.
Another successful month for the H&M Motorsports
“Overall we had a good weekend. Justin
would have got a “w” in moto one
also, but he got tangled with another rider
while leading the race. Davi continues to
work very hard on and off the track and has
a great attitude along with it. He will continue
to get better and better if he continues the
hard work. It is time to go back to work and
prepare for Glen Helen.” Team manager-
