Grant Mitchell put his GMR Racing’s / Maxxis Honda 450R out front for the second straight time this season. Mitchell took a commanding win in the WORCS Pro Am class, which boosted him into the Pro Am class point’s lead.
Mitchell rocketed off the line and put the pressure on to grab the lead before the end of lap one. Once in the lead, Mitchell didn’t look back. He did get some pressure from behind, but was able to maintain his position. The Maxxis Tire’s backed racer was able to best the rest of the Pro-Am field by 01:57.596 at the checkers.

“It was a good race, I am happy to get the win and take the points lead. My H&M Motorsports Honda and Maxxis Tires were a great combination and I couldn’t be happier. This was a really good weekend for me and my sponsors,” said Mitchell after the race.
The win marks his second of the season and gave him a seven point lead over the rest of the class. The impressive young racer will be looking to add another win to his collection at the eighth round of the Rocky Mountain ATV MC WORCS September 13-15 at Honey Lake in Milford, California.
